PSSBI-5A BECOMING A NEW COMMUNITY
It was started in June, 1982, we began with a few of people staying near to Senayan Sport Halls, almost every afternoon they expressed their hobby to play football together in the edge of ABC Senayan football field. Without realizing, from one day to another many people outside of the group had joined in the football training together.
Because the number of members had continuously increased and they were able to become a team, therefore we created a group and took initiative to rent ABC Senayan football field B as their place to train football together. On the same year we named it as Kelompok Pecinta Olahraga Sepakbola Senayan (KPOSS) and able to be said as Senayan Football Sport Club in English. We were consisted of many kinds of society grade (race, religion, social & economy grade, etc.). We had the same vision said as “Get together to love football”. The founders of KPOSS were Augustinus Darman, Tony Simonata and Tonny Darman in JakartaIndonesia.
We did many things within football activities in Indonesia such as run a football school named as Ricky Yacobi Football School on 9 September 1999, and Ricky Yacobi had been appointed as the director of the school and funding them for about 2 years, then next created Tunas Senayan Football School, later known as Tunas Ikaned with an high expectation for the improvement of the school. We were very happy to see that those football schools had been handed-over, operated independently and managed by themselves.
Several times we had successfully held Youth Football Competition for under 12 years of age and high-level football competition among football Schools in Indonesia under 15 years old. Moreover a coaching clinic was set-up as good as our capability and worked together with Sugih Handarto - FIFA Instructor who introduced a Coerver Coaching Method to all participants.
However, KPOSS as a football community in fact had not been able to be lifted-up further. We did more already but we have been called by the condition to do more. The founders were slowly realized it, and we have to change it to do higher and then we becoming PSSBI-5A.
The new Era of PSSBI-5A has been started with our website www.pssbi-5a.com, we are glad to see so many kids and parents contacting us, etc. From a football community becoming an industry for our community that never ended. It is really evidence to all founders of PSSBI-5A, we are entering the new era as our goals & expectation.
Today, on 23 January, 2012 where we all as a good citizen of this nation, are participating in celebrating a Chinese New Year in Indonesia, when on the same time we have been growing in achieving to 250,000 viewers of this website. Wow...thanks to all of you, you are all really becoming our new community.
